Convenient from highway to stop at. Wish they would have kept the IHOP but the new restaurant isn't bad
In the morning it's an average convenience store, three stars.
If you can go somewhere else in the afternoon for food, do it. One star.
Nice employees place just isn't very clean
The cashier's are very slow and have no sense of urgency. One employee took a phone call and from another employee and took the time to give them their schedule for the day over the phone. Not a big deal but there were over 10 people in each line. They took a very long time to bag items. I would recommend going anywhere else.
Considering that most people on the road are looking for convenience, this place is perfect. 3 choices of "chain" food, plus a homestyle sit-down. Ridiculously large choice of packaged sandwiches and other foods. Most drinks, and snack foods. Cleanliness of restrooms is variable. Counter staff are hospitable, so speed there is not the primary goal. Enjoy the hospitality.
Hungry and looking for a place right off the highway? BFS is the place. In a hurry and on the way to your oilfield job in the afternoon? Find somewhere else. This place is the only joint in town, so everyone comes here. Everyone. 20+ minute waits at the Subway are common, and then if you want something from the convenience store, add 10 more minutes. If you're only after a Hot and Ready pizza from Little Caesar's then you can get in and out in under 10, and Tim Horton is somewhere around 15.
