This place is awful. It's the only office that takes 30 days to process a snap application. People wouldn't be Appling for snap if they didnt need help right away. Ive dealt with snap in Huntington and Fairmont and it took 3 days. Now they want to call your job that you no longer work at. They ask all kinds of questions as to why they no longer work there. I called Charleston because the worker was 30 min. Late calling. The worker whos name is Sandy Bell became angry when she read the note on the account and begain defending herself. Very unprofessional. I'm still really confused about that one. You swear and sign a paper to tell the truth or be fined 25,000 or 10 yrs. in prison. Next they will want a DNA sample and if you are black or hispanic you will be denied. Im hispanic.
Laura the caseworker is a joke I've called and left 3 vm she doesn't return my calls nor ever picks up her phone. Today makes day 6 I've tried to get in touch with her. Piss poor service if u ask me negative 5 stars!!
Case worker didnt show up for permission to treat a raped 3yr old boy. So the grandmother signed the grandmother and father are the rapist and and bragging. ... they still have possession of the children because of the no show.
This place sucks. Signed up for medical card over a month ago and no one has called or sent me any mail. Bad part is I am pregnant and can not afford to go to doc. They never call back and you can even get them to look on there computer to see. Lazy asses. I called the office again and then the customer change center line and they said they could not find my app. So the clarksburg office lost it and the day I filled it out there was a woman who was in front of me who was mad cause they gave out her social and info to someone else.
I can never get anyone to call me back, always have to wait for hours when I'm there. There service in this area is the worst compared to other dhhr. Most of the time I call the 1800 number cause it's point less to call this office.
