Shoe Carnival is by far one of my favorite shoe stores and I find that I get great deals every time I shop with them. However, I took advantage of a deal that was going on online on Black Friday and was double-charged for a different amount. My shoes were 29.87 and I was charged another amount of 28.60. I called the 800 number I was given by the store manager and the customer service department informed me that they only had record of one charge. Somehow I’m being charged another amount when I only purchased one pair of shoes. I have been a loyal shoe carnival customer and have never had any issues. Unfortunately, this double charge has caused my account to obtain an overdraft fee and it is unacceptable. Just be aware when you order through them with your card.
Bought a pair of 99$ merrell hiking boots and decided to buy a second pair for half off. The second pair I chose they didn't have in my size but the associate (leslie) assured me that they could order them in by the weekend(I'm in town on business and leave monday). So I said okay and paid for both pairs and left. Shortly after I het an email telling me the shoes are on their way. I noticed that the shoes that were on their way were not the right color of the ones I wanted. So i called the store. Leslie told me there was nothing she could do. That when the shoes came in I could either pick them up or refund them.... So I called the 1-800 number from my email and inquired with them only to be told they could not fix this employees mistake and that my only option was to take the shoes in a color I don't want or refund the money. So I went back to the store. The shoes they ordered they already had on the shelf in the store and I decided that rather than go through the hassle or refunding and reprdering I would just take the ones they ordered, which were already in stock at the store... now Leslie tells me that no I can not have the SAME EXACT SHOES I ALREADY PAID FOR AND WERE INCORRECTLY ORDERED THAT ARE RIGHT HERE IN THE STORE. I would have to wait until they shipped me the shoes. Terrible way to run a business and rude and inconsiderate customer service at every level. I refunded the merrells and the vans I ordered and threw away my perks card. I would rather give my business to another company that puts their customers first. Way to lose $120 shoe carnival!!!
