Every employee at this location welcomed me 10 years ago when I moved from Waikiki to Clarksburg. Shopping here has always been delightful, and I can't give enough praise to the staff in the Pharmacy, you can get flu shots where you shop and their automated refills made my life a breaze.
It was a quick trip in. Knew what I was looking for, friend knew what she was looking for.
Found many items that I couldn't find at Food Lion, where I prefer to shop most of the time. Check- out persons were stressed due to heat in the store (this is WV, not Fla) she was not nice. Went to tobacco/ lottery checkout area later, no checkout person available, and waited, with another man, for 15 minutes (we actually looked over the counter to make sure worker wasn't on the floor). Associate came back and we felt like an inconvenience to her. The poor elderly guy had waited 20 minutes now. He was told that the item he wanted was out of stock and that also she couldn't ring up the high priced fruit at HER register, (only tobacco at that register) he would have to go through the regular line. He said forget it, and Left. Didn't blame him.
Very helpful and wonderful staff. But, I do not feel a mgr should tell a worker something negative on the shopping floor. It was about clocking in/out. Disrectful
My preferred grocer. I like the Pike street location. Pharmacy staff is super friend sky. It's like Cheers in this place, everybody knows your name. Location is small, lacks many products that can easily be found at other Kroger locations, or other chains for that matter. But...Ill take it.
