The people are very helpful and they have better prices now. Location is great. Easy off easy on rt. 50.
It's a shame that people really hate their jobs. It shows in their facial expressions and the tone in which they speak. Not all of the employees show their dislike, but I have encountered a few nasty people. I am also surprised in the way prices have gone up.
Convient and not as bad as some other places on prices but yet they make sure they sell exactly what they want
Wanted Fried Chicken from the deli approximately 30 to 40 pieces in the trays asked for an 8-piece dinner was told I would have to wait 10 minutes if I wanted eight pieces I said well can't you just mix and match out of that batch and she said no very abruptly wanted a gallon of milk... the whole case expired on August 26th only four days from purchase date
Nice large store with a wonderful selection, clean wide aisles, great deli, and friendly service. Much better than the Kroger's downtown which has unfortunately become a real mess. Large parking lot and easy access to Highway 50 to put you back downtown or heading towards Bridgeport is convenient. Only a few minutes from downtown on W. Pike St. so definitely worth your time to make the detour for a much better shopping experience and less aggravation. Nice neighborhood too with a Pizza Hut, Toni's Ice Cream, and a Dollar Store. You just can't go wrong with all these choices!
